What is a first cousin twice removed?
A first cousin twice removed is your first cousin's grandchild, or your grandparent's first cousin. 'Twice removed' means a two-generation gap: one of you sits two generations below the common ancestor and the other sits four. The cousin degree stays 'first' — only the removal changes.
