- OCR text, extracted fields, annotations, transcriptions, translations, and classifications;
- file metadata, thumbnails, tags, and system-generated derivatives.

- prompts, chats, messages, comments, annotations, support requests, surveys, and feedback;
- communication preferences;
- audio recordings or transcripts of support interactions where permitted by law.

Payment card and bank information may be processed directly by our payment processors rather than stored in full by us.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for content you provide.
2.10 Children's Information
The Services are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information directly from children under 16.
3. Use and Processing of Information

- generate family trees, graphs, and knowledge graphs;
- produce Outputs;
- operate messaging, collaboration, and sharing features;

We may use information, including User Content, communications, prompts, records, files, system interactions, Outputs, and derived data, to:
- improve the Services and related offerings;
- develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, and commercialize machine learning and AI systems;
- create embeddings, indexes, relationship maps, and derived datasets;
- test and validate models, prompts, and workflows;
- create new features, products, or business lines;
- perform research, analytics, quality control, and performance monitoring.
There is no general training opt-out described in this Policy unless we separately offer one in writing.
3.3 To Secure and Protect the Services

- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, and security incidents;
- enforce our Terms;

If you choose to share trees, messages, annotations, or other materials with other users or recipients, we will disclose the information necessary to effectuate that sharing.

If you connect or authorize Third-Party Services, we may disclose or exchange information with those services as necessary to perform the requested integration, retrieval, or workflow.

5.2 Marketing Communications
You can opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send non-promotional service or transactional communications.

7. Other Important Information
7.1 Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain accounts, support users, train and improve systems, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the business.
7.2 Account Deletion and Backups
If you delete your account or request deletion, we may delete, de-identify, anonymize, aggregate, retain, or transform information as permitted by law and as needed for legitimate business purposes.
We generally target deletion from active systems within a commercially reasonable period and may continue to retain information in backups, archives, logs, derived datasets, or model artifacts. Some backup systems may be immutable and may be purged on scheduled cycles that can extend for up to approximately 180 days or longer where legally permitted or operationally necessary.
7.3 Derived Data and Model Artifacts
Even if source records or account data are deleted, we may retain and continue to use:
- de-identified or aggregated data;
- system logs;
- confidence scores, rankings, and model-evaluation data;
- vector embeddings and indexes;
- trained model weights and related artifacts;
- other derivative or transformed information not required to be deleted under applicable law.
7.4 Third-Party Websites and Applications
We do not control third-party websites, applications, archives, APIs, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own terms and policies.
7.5 International Users and Transfers
The Services are operated from the United States and are primarily directed to users in the United States. If you access or use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, accessed in, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. We do not represent that the Services are appropriate, available, or compliant for use in every jurisdiction outside the United States. If mandatory law gives you rights that apply notwithstanding this Policy, we will honor those rights to the extent required by applicable law.
